Anyone have any information concerning the parents of William Adam Jeffers

Question

William Adams Jeffers was born in the late 1700s, I think, and is buried in the Jeffers cemetary in the Sandridge area of South Carolina, near Holly Hill.

I am a direct decendant and would like to trace the family back farther.

Any help is most appreciated.

I've scoured the 'free' Internet resources, visited the grave-site, and compiled a list of children, grandchildren, leading back to William. I can find no records of names for his parents, etc.
