You'll need to be a bit more specific. (place, period) Not all  Fords are related. The name refers to a shallow river or stream crossing. John who lived by the ford became John Ford. There were an awful lot of fords in England!

Which Ford family are you interested in? I'm a descendant of Colonial immigrant Andrew Ford (who married Ellen Lovell) if you are looking into that family group and descendants.
