Our ancestor: Rudolph Schroeder (Possibly "Rudolph Otto Schroeder" or "Rudolph Otto Schroeder") He was born about 1864 in Germany or Prussia. Immigrated to Cook County, Illinois about 1882. He married Alma Stern, had 2 children, and he disappeared in 1889. We have a picture of him, and are wondering if there is a place we can post it in the hopes that someone will recognize him and be able to give us some more information about him.

I have a nice picture: Feb. 12th 1885 Theodore Schroder & Albertina (Schroeder) Arnholz is what was writing on the back. I can email you the picture -it's a nice one. I've got a few others I can manage to read the notes on either. I've worked for hundreds of hours on scanning photos for my mom's side of the family: Troester/Scrhoeder/Arnholz and others relatives from Steger and Chicago, IL area. I may have a few questions from you too. I am talking to my mother this week I'll ask her about them. I know someone died of TB (a lot did) after have two children but I don't remember the name, I'll let you know and we can get it up on the site.
