Acadie, this lady was born on my side but married twice on yours, didn't create the spouses

Angélique Dauphin married 2 Acadian men, one already established and the other of apparently recent arrival, the first in 1724, the 2nd in 1740, both in Louisbourg.  Haven't created their profiles as the first one appears to have some confusion on his actual name from the transcripts I found, and the other is a Poirier, who are legion in your part of the world. laugh  Over to you for the rest.

Thanks, Danielle, did you have any indication that either of the men were military?

the first is listed as a blacksmith in their marriage record, the second I remember no mention of profession
as a note, her sister Thérèse also married Acadians.

I am wondering if her mother and second husband moved to stay with these daughters, they are lost track of around the time of the conquest.
