My family has an unusual Genetic Trait - the MIDDLE (or 3rd, or Index) TOE is much LONGER on both feetthan all the other toes. Does any other family share this trait.

I can wiggle my ears, but my father used to say that any jackass can do that.

Several members of my family have

1) the second toe much longer .

2) thumbs and very short and wide...noticeably wide at the distal (nail) end.

3) Some of them have two missing knuckle joints.

This is true for my mother, grandfather, brother and one sister. I know ancestors had this also. We have always called it "McGrew thumbs".

Dad and I shared the hitch-hiker thumbs ... double jointed thumbs. My aunt had a picture of a Homer West taken in Cuba and asked me if I knew who it was and my response was it had to be kin he had the same square jaw with dimple in the center like dad.
