Does no date of death mean that June Elder is still living?

Kennedy and W.B (Walker Baumgartner) both served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. They had a son named Robin whom I believe served also, possibly career. Can't recall their daughter's name who was younger than Robin They lived in upstate NY after Kennedy's Navy committment for many years and may have relocated to PA. With the Elders living in NY and the Beals living in WA and CA, I only met Kennedy and Family once when they made the trip West.

No death date means either they are alive or the death date or event is unknown.

There can be several reason. The person may have remarried are buried with there new spouse in a different cemetery. If person was the wife she may have remarried and she not only is buried somwhere else but also has a different last name at burial. Lots of times the familiy move a great distance away so they could be buried in a different state.

They could have beeen the last living relative so no one was left to have the death date posted. etc.
My Aunt, June Hicks Elder, is still alive and well. She will turn 93 years young in 10/2016.
