How do I recover a lost image file?

I uploaded a photo of a river scene which I wanted to associate with a particular profile. As it was not of the person described by the profile, I marked it as "source" not "photo", and since the person did not appear in the image I clicked REMOVE (I think).

Help! I can't find it now. It is not in my My WikiTree > Images list.

It is probably gone from Wikitree.  A photo needs to be connected to a profile or free space page or else it is deleted.

Was the photo saved on your computer? If so, look for it there and upload it again. If not, you'll need to go back to the source.

I found this through your contribution list.
Thanks. I found it myself and linked it to the right profile. Panic over!
