a HUGE Team Roses thank you to Linda for helping our team members get connected to some old abandoned gedcoms from the GEDImprove Project to work on during the SAT. Thank you for marking profiles as unsourced and helping us work on profiles where we could do a lot of good. I'm thrilled about how much we got accomplished and will continue to accomplish to strengthen the Tree.

Thanks Emma, Big Thanks to Kay (Sands-1865) Knight for setting up BioCheck and GEDI Challenge.  Kay and I work together on this Challenge, as well as a few others, like Loretta (Leger-741) Corbin.

It was a group effort to add Unsourced tags on thousands of profiles that Team Roses was going to use.  We are still trying to determine how many and which profiles in the Gedcoms were updated during the Thon by everyone!!  

Quite a few Teams used the Gedcoms that we had published in the GEDI Overview Sheet during the Source  a Thon.  We are very thankful to everyone who updated the Gedcoms.  We are hoping that many people will continue working on them. We have plenty of other Gedcoms that are not published yet in the GEDI Sheet.

Update of the GEDI Profiles during Source a Thon shows a 'portion' of what we now know was updated.  Many people from Team Roses used other Gedcoms to update profiles, also.   It was a Great Wikitree TEAM Effort.

And thanks Dieter for helping Germany with theirs also!!  We marked plenty of Germany profiles with unsourced also from some Gedcoms we had.
