Samuel lloyd chesapeake city maryland born abt 1833

Question

i am looking for info regarding my great great grandfather Samuel. bethel church burnt down so the records were supposedly lost.  bethel cemetery collapsed when the river was widened so there are a lot of unmarked graves.  the earliest census i have is 1880.  he was married to rebecca chambers.
