Pepin Heristal has a number of wives named Alpais, and they need to be merged.  What should her LNAB be?
WikiTree profile: Pepin II Herstal

"Alpaide Bruyères" Bruyères-6, is currently Project Protected as the mistress/wife of Pepin. As FMG gives no ancestry for Alpais (Chalpais), I propose to use Unknown as her LNAB and propose the merges.  Is there any objection?
Hi Vic

Maybe you intended this but there are already 2 profiles with Unknown as the LNAB with Unknown-190669 as the lowest.  Bruyeres-6 should be unprotected and everything merged into Unknown-190669.
Yep, that is what I intended but didn't express clearly.

Sorry not to reply earlier Vic (yesterday was one of those days)

I've just checked Christian Settipani's book La Prehistoire des Capetiens, which I think Charles Cawley quotes in FMG, and he states that there are about 3 different theories about the parents of Alpäis but basically no one knows for certain and I agree that her LNAB should be Unknown.

Interestingly Settipani also states that Herstal or Héristal is used as the surname for Pépin only from the 13th century onwards.  However I think as most modern authors refer to him this way, it would be better to leave this as his CLN.
