I'm using the free version of Geni.com, and have created a Family Tree on that site, I tried to export it to Wiki Tree but said my Gedcom wasn't valid becuase it had to have [.ged'] Is it possible to download a tree from Geni to Wiki Tree?

Try downloading from geni.com to your computer in [.ged]  format. Then upload that file to Wikitree. Good luck.

Use the free trial, then a gedcom export option becomes available under "Family -> Share my tree". Then remember to unsubscribe from pro membership, unless you wish to pay.
