Filles du Roi: Description page created

Question

As bios get written for them, members are repeating the general data on who the Filles du Roi and the program instituted by the crown to bring them here were.  Which becomes somewhat redundant.  It detracts from their own individual bios.  Therefore, to provide this data to readers not familiar with them, as was nicely pointed out to me by one of our members, I have created the linked space page.  It gives a brief description of what it was all about, with the various sources about them also listed.  

So, instead of reinventing the wheel each time, please use this space page as a link in the bios for further information to readers.

Very nicely done.  I loved the detail  you provided as I had not known about some of those aspects of the program.  It was especially interesting the number of items they were given, including stockings and gloves and shoelaces.  This is a beautiful thing about WikiTree where you can learn something new every day.  Thank you.
