does anyone have any information on Daniel Brown who married Elizabeth Cantrell - 1828

Daniel  Brown was my 3rd great grandfatbher.  He married Elizabeth Canrell in 1828.  They had one son, William Carroll Brown born in 1830 in Hamilton, Illinois.  His son, James Casey Brown, my great grandfather born Jan 3 1959 in Galatia Illinois.  His son, Bryan Brown, my grandfather was born in 1896 in Walpole, Illinois.  I am having difficulty obtaining information on Daniel Brown, i.e. date of birth, place, death.  We know that he fought in the Revolutionary War and his family was from or  lived for a time in Culpepper, VA but can find no solid information.  Any information would be helpful.

This is DNA Group 33, per one male Brown Y DNA donor.  Members of the Brown family were, in fact, in Culpeper Co., VA.  I have more information, if desired.  Bill
