Does anyone know who the father of John Greenberry Wade is !

It's extremely unlikely that anyone was born in Ohio in 1740. Nelson County, Virginia, likewise did not exist; both places were pretty far west of the colonial frontier at the time. It is also unlikely, although possible, that someone born in 1740 would have a middle name (they didn't become common until the early 1800s).

Are there any primary sources for this John Wade?

On edit: where are the primary sources for his marriage to "Mary Sarah Harnden"? She's on the FamilySearch tree, claimed to've been born in Massachusetts, which seems very unlikely if this John Wade was from Virginia and died in Kentucky. A quick Google Books search shows results from the New England Genealogical & Historic Register that list a number of Wade/Harnden marriages in Medford, MA; is seems like this John Wade may have been conflated with an entirely different person.

They note his son living in Ohio as well

Middle names absolutely were NOT common in the South or anywhere else in 1740. I have identified literally hundreds of 17th and 18th century ancestors. I have identified exactly ONE person born before 1750 who had a middle name that was given to him at birth. John Wade had a son called Greenbury or Greenberry Wade whose name appears in the division of property at the settling of John Wade's estate.

The territory that became Ohio was claimed from France by treaty in 1763 as a result of the French and Indian War. There is a biography of John Wade at one of your links that says his daughter Drusilla died in Preble County, Ohio; it does not say that he was born there. The profile as it exists is pretty clearly a mishmash of misattributed facts gleaned from this family's actual associations.

That's why I posted asking for help ! I have no idea. The Wade family is generally well researched though ! I sent a letter to the library in Henrico Virginia. They might be able to tell me if that John Wade was married to Mary Williams and died in Henrico or if he was the John Wade that moved and lived in Kentucky. Getting a starting point would help.

If the profiles you've linked to are examples of what you consider to be "well researched" I would beg to differ; I see spurious middle names attached to people who never had them, multiple wives shown as mother to the same children, and a general lack of primary sources. I mean, just look at the state of this. Mary Hampton is both his mother (age 10 at his birth, no less!), and his wife? 13 children, sources for 4 of them (and one of those probably wrong because the surname is "Wite")? This is not "well-researched".
