Shared Photo: William Danford Verley and his buffalo

Question

I wanted to share this family photo of William Verley with the community. Location: Grand Island, Hall, Nebraska, United States. Date: between 1921 & 1923. For over 20 years he operated a transport business between Grand Island, NE and Burwell, NE utilizing a covered wagon pulled by a buffalo. He moved his family to Grand Island in 1910 in that wagon (according to his daughter Maisie Rose Verley).
I have always wanted to know the name of the buffalo.
