Have identified old photos of people we are not related to (some with dates); any good way to share them?

Question

Having family photos is a precious thing as I learned when growing up. Unfortunately, sometimes these treasures can be lost, stolen, or destroyed. Please make copies of your photos! It is a good idea to share them with interested relatives as well to ensure that they will be preserved for future family and cousins. In some cases, people are fortunate to inherit photos that are labeled. I know some collectors of photos that have indicated that they would like to share digital copies of identified tintype, CDV and other photos with family members. If there is a way to do this, I would like to request that wikitree members try to find family photos to upload to the tree. Is there a way to upload images of people that are not related without creating many isolated trees?

I have shared photos I found (some labelled, some not) onto free-space pages. See: Herold Historical album and Woolley family photos

Where I am able to link the images to an existing profile I do, but otherwise I've just kept the images up here for posterity and in the hopes that other family members or genealogists might find this and be able to identify unlabelled images.
