On what ship did Bridget Jordan of Galway come to Australia in 1860s?

It looks as if she arrived on the British Lion, from London 25 March 1866, then Plymouth 10 April, to Port Adelaide, South Australia on 14 July 1866. She was 20.

Jim,  many thanks for your info re Bridget Jordan/Jordon & the ship “British Lion”.  It may well be her ship.

Previously we were given her name on another ship of 1869.

I can look up that info. 2moro if needed.

Our shipping list is the Star Queen of 1869 leaving Glasgow May 18th & arriving Brisbane Roads (Queensland Australia) September 6th (110 days)

Bridget Jordan is listed as 22 yrs but she was born about 1842 so may have been about 27.  She married our great grandfather about 1872 in northern New South Wales, that is closer to Brisbane than Adelaide South Australia.

Jordan doesn’t seem to be a common name in Ireland but not really sure about that.  2 females named Bridget Jordan arrived here 1866 & 1869.  Not sure which one is ours.

Jim,  I just realised that the Bridget Jordan on the Star Queen of 1869 does not say Galway.
