I see that I get points when I help someone. Where can you find out the point system?

The following will explain about points and badges. It doesn't break down exactly how many points you obtain for doing different things, but it is still informative:

Information about points is near the bottom of the page:

Participation in G2G earns points. All these actions are counted:

  • Asking a question.
  • Posting an answer.
  • Voting up or down a question.
  • Voting up or down an answer.
  • Having your question voted up or down.
  • Having your answer voted up or down.
  • Having your answer selected as the best.
  • Selecting an answer to your question as the best.

The number of points in G2G earns you a title. You start as a G2G Rookie. At 300 points you're G2G Crew. From there, the sky is the limit.

If someone votes on your question, you get 20 points.

The person who does the voting, gets 10 points.

If you answer someone's question, you get 100 points.

Beyond that, I don't remember. I haven't paid that much attention to scoring.

Maybe someone else can chime in with the rest of the points system.

Or maybe someone else knows a link where the information is posted.
