New member introducing myself

Hi.  I currently have 37 different family trees on Ancestry, but I haven't tried Wikitree.  One of my trees is for my sister-in-law, who is a Youngblood/Jongbloedt and Auten/Aten descendent from New Netherland.  I am interested in the New Netherland Settlers Project.  Where do I start?

Welcome to WikiTree, Lorri! We are happy you have joined us. My suggestion is that you need to look on your profile or navigation page and click on the "Upgrade" link. Answer a few questions and click save. To upgrade on WikiTree is completely free - there is no cost for anything. Once you have upgraded, you will be able to begin adding your family to our tree. A greeter will leave a message on your profile page with a link to the "new member how-tos". Go through those as that link has a lot of useful information that will save you time and effort.

If you have more questions after that, please come back here and ask. There are many here who are willing to help. Good luck with adding your ancestors - we look forward to your contributions.
