What ever happened to Frederick William Arthur Page?

The story was that he had been travelling from Ontario Canada to California in the 1950's or early 1960's to see his younger son and his family and was never seen again.  Both his sons have passed away never knowing what happened to their father.

He emigrated to Canada from England in 1906 with his parents and most of his siblings (the youngest few were born in Canada).  His wife was Nellie (Harland), born 1902.  They were married Jun 16, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  Their son Donald Frederick Page was born Jul 2, 1929 in Hamilton, Ontario.  Their 2nd son Douglas William Arthur Page was born Jul 12, 1931 in Hamilton, Ontario. Donald got married in Canada in Apr 1951.  Donald & Margaret's 2 sons were born in 1952 & 1959 but unsure where. Their daughter was born in Feb 1963 in California, USA. The oldest son & daughter's families are still in California, while the middle son lives in Canada with his family.  Fred's wife Nellie died Jul 23, 1968 in Ottawa, Ontario of cancer.
