Hi, Ray. I'm pretty confident that Herb's answer from the 12th correctly showed the marriage information for your paternal grandfather and grandmother. The marriage date and names are the same.

The Find a Grave memorial for her (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/28006138/martha-white) includes a brief, transcribed obituary, but note that in the obituary the surname of her mother seems to be incorrect, and that the date of birth on the photo of the headstone also seems to be incorrect by eight days.

You can also find the obituary here, at Legacy.com; it was published in the Waco Tribune-Herald, but unfortunately Newspapers.com only has issues of the paper through 1977, so I can't get you a clipping of the actual obit. Martha's mother's maiden name is shown as "Voyne," but her Texas birth certificate shows it as "Vaughn" and the date of birth as 3 March 1931 in Austin County, Texas. You can see the original certificate here as a free-to-view image from Ancestry.com.

Nine-year-old Martha can be found in the 1940 U.S. Census with her parents and six siblings here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KWNX-2SF. It looks like Martha had, as of 1940, an elder brother and sister, and four younger brothers.

Ray:

I saw the biographical information on your profile.  Are you looking for information on your father's mother or mother's mother?  If it's your father's mother, what was the name of your father's father and mother (your grandparents)?

I figure it's your father's parents, because it looks like you have been working on your mother's side.
