I have been using this sticker:  Sticker Down at the bottom of the page under examples.

{{Veteran Recognition

|badge-image=American_Civil_War_POW_Camps.jpg

|branch=American Civil War

}}

Is this ok to use?  Sometimes I don't know what regiment they served in yet.  Here is a profile I used it on : Wilkins Marion Tidwell

Death record shows he passed from Broncho Pneumonia and Senile Debility. He was working as a laborer as occupation at age 72.
Thank you
Thanks for your help

Instructions to add a "us civil war" sticker is found at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:US_Civil_War.  Is that what you are looking for?

As mentioned above, you use the Civil War template with the following parameters

side = USA

unit=13th Regiment, Maine Infantry
enlisted=9 Dec 1861
rank=Corporal

Updated the civil war sticker and some formatting. Needs a Gedcom cleanup but I’m don’t specialize in that maintenance category. A great profile of this Civil War Maine veteran who served in the 13th Regiment, Maine Infantry, United States Civil War

I searched for an obit briefly couldn’t find any obit. Hope this helps in his genealogy research smiley

The son Frank in 1905 just a few years before his parents passed did visit them as is mentioned here The Bangor Daily News Bangor, Maine 18 Aug 1905, Fri • Page 8

That is really cool.  At this time I can't afford to pay for the Bangor news papers archive.  Thanks again

Completely off topic, but it looks like he is a distant cousin of Benjamin H. Jellison (1845-1924), who won the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions at Gettysburg.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_H._Jellison

They look both to be descendants of Ichabod Jellison (1690-1951).

Wow! That’s a very interesting civil war vet! yes

Does he have a Wikitree profile? He would be a notable

That is very interesting, thanks
I didn't see a profile for him.
