how do I adopt an orphan profile?

I would like to adopt the profile Fancher-24. His profile says he has no profile manager, but there is not a link for adoption. I'm very new to WikiTree, and very excited at the possibility of collaborating with other genealogists who like to use sources. I've been doing genealogy for over 20 years and have a lot to contribute. Laurie

I see [adopt this profile] next to "No Profile Manager" on James's profile.  You have signed the Honor Code so you should see the same.

Thanks so much for the reply. When I view the profile there isn’t a link to adopt. The line is blank after the “no profile manager “. Perhaps since I just signed the honor pledge a day or so ago it will take a few days for my status to work through the system.  I’ll wait and see if it doesn’t change.

It looks as if it is open and available when I view the profile at this current time. Might want to try again.
