At the moment there are just 2 low-level categories -

Category:96th_Machine_Gun_Company%2C_British_Army%2C_World_War_I

Category:Machine_Gun_Corps%2C_Heavy_Branch

According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_Gun_Corps) there were 170,500 people who served in the Machine Gun Corps, so I suspect a lot more low-level categories will eventually be needed once profiles have been created that will use them.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for this information. Unfortunately I've not been able to trace what unit within the Machine Gun Corps my ancestor was in. According to The Long Long Trail website there were over three hundred units in the Corps, so it may be more value having a single category covering the MGC as a whole, especially as it was only in existence for 7 years from 1915 to 1922.
