John Dubay is first found on the Halifax City (N.S. ) Poll Tax Index for 1791-1793. He went on to raise a family on the eastern shore of N.S (Debays Cove and Jeddore area) it seems he was married to a Doris|Doria Amelia Wilson. No prior info on either of these people has ever been found. I personally feel that there is a connection with the Quebec Dubes.  We are guessing the dob. would be ca. 1760-1770 and the dod ca 1840's for he does not appear on any censuses after that time.
