anomymous instead of name

Question

I have somehow accidently posted someone as anomymous.   on the public profile he appears as anonymous Stiles, and on the private profile he appears as Goerge Stiles, 2259

 which is how they both should appear.    I dont know how to fix this....help!!!

I believe it is now fixed.  I changed the preferred name from anonymous to his first name.

It is my understanding that the initial first name is by default the preferred name.  If you put Anonymous for the first name then the preferred name automatically becomes Anonymous.  If you then change the first name from Anonyous to George then the preferred name stays as Anonymous unless you change it.
