Looking for the ancestors of an Adrestus P. Clark of Hamlin (Rochester), New York born in 1836 died in 1905. He was married to Esther L. (Upton) Clark.

My most recent Clark ancestor is Mary Clark born about 1590 at Hingham, Norfolk, England   52.5791° N, 0.9828° E. If she is the first generation, that would make me the 12th.

She is in a direct female line through my mother. So in theory Mary Clark would have the same mtDNA as my mother.
