Category for Merionethshire, Wales

I wanted to ask the Wales project before creating a category for Merionethshire.  It doesn't exist (yet) as a Past County, wanted to make sure there wasn't a reason before adding it.

Looking to add the category for the Quakers from Merionethshire aboard Lyon in 1682.

The county existed from the thirteenth century until the effects of the Local Government Act 1972 were imposed in 1974. It included that coastal area south of the Lleyn peninsular (the bit that looks as if it is pointing to Ireland or Cornwall) and a significant part of the mountainous area that later became the Snowdonia national park.

It seems to me that it was just waiting for someone to set it up as a category.

Hi Andrea,   That's [[Category: Merionethshire, Wales]] set up for you and linked to past counties in [[Project:Wales|Wales Project]].   Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
