New member introducing myself

This is my first time on WikiTree and I am in the process of doing a genealogy on my father's side of the family whose name is Marion George Workman born July 1,1918 in Tobias NE and died September 9, 1985 in AZ.  I am using Powerpoint with each person having a separate page.  My question today is there any easy way to keep track of all the family members and which family they belong to?  And are the wives always included on a separate page when they are not blood relatives?  Thank you.  Diane

Thank you for the information.  The gravesite and written obit will be useful to attach to the Powerpoint presentation.

Hi Diane,

I think you've asked an age old genealogical question, and I think that people have come up with some ingenious solutions...that I, sadly, have never tried. I started my family tree journey with lever arch files, which I haven't looked at in a really long time. My research strategy now is purely digital where I work between familysearch and wikitree, and I link to other pages on the internet in my ancestors bio's. Some notes I keep on a designated Free-Space Profile.

Searching G2G for the word "strategy" came up with some interesting results.

WikiTree, and the various extra app's and tools, have many different ways that you can view your tree, most of those tools are linked to in the "Family Tree and Tools" tab on profiles.

I wish you all the best luck in your research, and loads of fun!
