Question

Hekmut Jung schaefer had sent me some information per my previous question. l cannot read german context. Thaddeus Sauter was born circa 1769, married Helena Haug; they had l believe 7 children. He named his son after him. He was born in 1796 in Wurttemburg Germany also along with all the kids trying to find out 1769 circa parents please help thank you.

In your previous question you mentioned Hirschau as origin. The only Hirschau in Baden-Württemberg is now incorporated into Tübingen. In the 18th century it was part of Further Austria aka Anterior Austria and, therefore, catholic. The Landesarchiv Stuttgart has church books, but they are on line only for the period after 1808. One way to try is to contact the church directly and ask where their records are held and how to go about getting copies: pfarramt@hirschau-sankt-aegidius.de
