Zara Garrett is researching the Roberts family.

Aaron Roberts was born in 1772 in South Carolina. He married a lady named Betsy. They had a son named John H. Roberts, born 1805 in South Carolina. John married Nancy Seymour.

I may have taken your further than you ever wanted to know but this is a free book on Google Books and mentions the Roberts Family and there is an Aaron born every generation. I thought you might find something useful in it and even if you didn't it is an interesting read....or at least I found it interesting.

Biographical Annals of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Containing Genealogical Records of Representative Families, Including Many of the Early Settlers and Biographical Sketches of Prominent Citizens: Volume 1

Just go to google.com then search the books with a part of the title and I believe it will pull this up for you. It is a free book
