Blencow or Hicks (from father and husband?)

Question

One of the biographical entries for Margaret Griswold (Blencow-6), b 1611, says she was married to a Mr. Hicks before her marriage to Mr. Griswold.  But her father is shown as Robert Hicks.  Anybody know where the Blencow came from?

I, Too, am confused about this. I've been working on it off and on, hope to straighten it out one of these days.
