Entire profile in bold

Hi. I recently had someone merge a profile into one I manage and convert the entire profile in to bold font. In looking at this person’s other profiles created since joining earlier this year, all are in bold. Is this a style difference which should be addressed or not? Can you help me with how to approach this issue if needed? Thanks Bob

It might be that member's preferred style, but he or she has no right to impose it on profiles managed by others.  If you needed to emphasize a word or two, you've been denied an important option.  If you don't like it, I would just un-bold all of it without making a fuss.

It seems it was originally just the "headings" (Birth, Marriage, etc) that were in bold.  Perhaps reverting to that might be best.

According to

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Profile_Aesthetics

Almost all creativity with text is discouraged, e.g. centering and the use of colored and different fonts, font sizes, and font colors, centering and creative alignment.

A biography all in bold seems to breach the spirit of this style rule.

To me it just looks unprofessional, somewhat akin to writing in all capitals.
I'd also question the Coat of Arms wallpaper.  Just because the person has the last name Thompson doesn't mean that person is entitled to the use of the Thompson coat of arms.

While I disapprove of putting the entire text of a profile in bold, it might be something that a person would do if they have trouble reading profiles that use the default font. I think that WikiTree uses 14px as the default font size, and a quick google search reveals that several authorities recommend 16px minimum. As one of the many family historians who are getting on in years, and don't see as well as I once did, I am inclined to think that 14px is too small.

You can embiggen the font, using wikitext markup, not html.

You could try 110% to see how well that works for you.

<big style="font-size: 110%;">Text goes here.</big>

(You can also ensmall it, but I've never seen a need to do that for profiles, just g2g edit notes.)
What I can do isn't the issue. The issue is what the default should be for a random visitor to the web site. If one makes one's browser window very narrow (or if using a mobile phone) one gets  larger font with the DNA connections, images, collaboration and research stuff down the bottom. I think it should be like this by default whatever the width of the browser window.
Then put in a proposal for a change / improvement /whatever you want to call it.

It should go under accessibility issues.
There are options for some of us who have visualization problems. Most browsers have the option of setting the magnification from the default (100%) in it's own settings. Some settings can be changed in the operating system itself. There is also a

Options for small devices would narrow as navigation would be made more difficult using larger fonts on a small screen. Creating a larger font by a couple of points enlarged a sample line (I created) by 11.5% roughly. Changing it to bold was much less of a space increase but it tended to bother my eyes by bold lettering seeming to blend together. I use reading glasses close up but don't know if that would help. If you wanted to emphasize something it would cause confusion as you would need to underline or find some other way to make your point. Editing may be an issue with others when they pull up a non-standard profile (they may just pass it up). That being said it is a "single" tree and we have some guidelines, but WT is flexible enough to let people be creative in other ways

Editing Tips states 'to make a word or phrase bold'.  It is not intended to make an entire biography bold.  To me, it looks like you are 'yelling' when using capital letters since nothing else can be highlighted in the biography.  Seems like a lot of time to make each sentence in each section bold.

As suggested by the vast majority of answers, I quietly changed the text removing the full bold font. She rebolded the full text. Suggestions?

Definitely, what Herbert said.
