May we please correct the direction of the tree icon in the compact ancestral tree?

Question

The ancestral tree at https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Whitten-Family-Tree-1 shows a small ancestral tree icon to the right of each person’s name which is symbolic of one person with two parents and four grandparents.  

On the compact ancestral tree at https://www.wikitree.com/treewidget/Whitten-1/5 the icons are reversed.  They are symbolic of four grandparents having two children and one grandchild.  May we please correct the icons on compact ancestral trees?  Thanks and sincerely,

The icon facing one way is for a compact family tree, while the one facing the other way is for a pedigree chart.  Not the same thing, so the icons facing different directions makes sense.  Unless I'm not seeing the same icons you are.

Hello Melanie,  Okay, I understand what you are saying.  I think a better symbol would be to make it look like the height of the icon was squashed (more compact).

I agree with you Peter, the one icon is definitely backwards, opposite of the actual compact tree format.

But then again I've also got mild OCD so it probably doesn't bother most other people.

CDO allows me to accept the icons facing different directions, because they link to two different functions.  

If both were for a compact tree view, or both were for a pedigree chart, I could see the need to have them be the same.  But they're not, so they shouldn't be. 

TL:DR — compact !=pedigree
