How can anyone help with a brickwall, with insufficient info.

When someone needs help, it would be best to see what information they have. Why not first ask for their wikitree page with current information. It should have notes and references to assist in helping them.

Brickwall profiles and help should require a wikitree profile page or some other page of info.  Suggest requesting such info on all new questions.

What is your wikitree page? Where is the information you have stored? This would assist in helping you.

A very good point! A link to the question askers profile is not difficult to find but the specific profile is indeed a different matter.

Yes have tried to locate the record using google without promising results. Coping web page link and posting may help. ie.

I agree. Good point, Michael.

I've added a new field to the ask-a-question form that requests a WikiTree ID or URL. The description for the category also now says "Include a WikiTree ID or URL if they're public." That comes up automatically if you select the Brickwalls category.
Thank you, should help in researching for others and avoids "I allready had that", have found lots of conflicting data on sites that causes many brickwalls. Lechner-18
