10 years prior, in 1850, he is living with Mary Cocklin, b. PA who is 33 yrs old. Samuel is 5, Joseph is 4 and Martha is 0. The children were all born in Ohio.

Megan I saw your comment about a name change. Have you researched the Conklin surname? There are many Conklins that settled in NY, PA, MA & OH. including those from my ancestry.
