The book mentioned in sources, The Story of a Family of the Old South, is out of print and very difficult to locate. Apparently no ebook is available. If anyone knows where a copy is available please reply.

WorldCat shows copies in 3 libraries:

  • Family History Library in Salt Lake
  • Baldwin County Library Cooperative in Robertsdale, Alabama
  • New York Public Library System in New York City

I will not be in Alabama or NY, but maybe I can find my local Family History Library. Thank you
The book is in Salt Lake only, not at the local Family History Centers. There is no digitized version.
If you are a member of a local library in your area, you can request books from other library systems with the interlibrary loan program. I'm in Oregon and just got a book from a New Mexico library system earlier this month for something I'm researching. Ask your librarian about it or check the library's website for more info on it.
Thank you so much. Good advice. I will try. Thanks
