Here is another lead from The Guardian with a link to some other tributes by great leaders of our time such as Barack Obama, the Pope and the Dalai Lama. Undoubtedly there will be many more tributes written in the coming week. He was one of the icons of the 20th century up there with Gandhi & Churchill.

This is quite a loss to the world. I saw a lovely photo posted on FB of Bishop Tutu and the Dalai Lama with news of Desmond Tutu's death.

I just heard from Scott Fulkerson on my post and he can find no profile as well. I will create a profile for him this weekend using the Wikipedia page as it lists his parents and other family. I'm staying put for New Years and intend to work on profiles.
