There is a merge proposal that should be looked by a member of the New Netherland Settlers Project!

Profiles:  Blanchan-17 and Blanchan-27

An additional question.

Is http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Joisse-1 (Madeline Joisse, born 1611, married Burhans) supposed to represent the same person as http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Joire-1 (Madeleine Joire, born 1611, married Blanchan)?

Also: Please tag this for "blanchan" (and possibly also "joire").
Thanks for the alert about that, Guy. It was handled wrong. It should not have gone direct to merge, after removal of the template on the match. With the template improperly removed, we had no idea that the match had a PPP block on it. It was supposed to instead go to Merge Pending category, so that we could remove the PPP from the match. I have now added the Merge Pending category, but I had to reverse the merge in the meantime. It will be ready again for merge shortly.
You say you reversed the merge proposal.  These are the same name and the merge should be done INTO the lower number. (( 27 into 17)).
Yes Guy, that is correct. But until the extra PPP gets removed per our project system protocol, then the merge is impossible, and so just confuses everybody, because it cannot be completed. It is Unmerged Match for now. It will get resolved for merge shortly.

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Blanchan-17 and http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Blanchan-27 obviously represents the same person - the son of http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Blanchan-5

As for removal of the templates, I would do what Steven and Liz showed me as regards to Huguenot refugees who did not survive the journey:

{{Collateral Huguenot
|name= Paul de Villiers
|addinfo=
Family members made it to the [http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:The_Dutch_Cape_Colony_1652-1806 Cape Colony].
}}

or

{{Collateral Huguenot
|name= Paul de Villiers
|addinfo=
His parents were Huguenot refugees who immigrated to the [http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:The_Dutch_Cape_Colony_1652-1806 Cape Colony].
}} {{Dutch_Cape_Colony}}
