Do John Greene and his wife Joan Beggarly fit in to the Puritan Great Migration Project

+7 votes
Hi PGMers,

Does this profile for John Greene (born 1620 in England, died 1695 in Rhode Island), belong with the PGM? Even if it doesn't, it could use some more sources and a bit of polish. Is there anyone familiar with early Rhode Island who wants to collaborate on this?

Also, there is an unmerged match between the profiles for his wife that looks like it is due to differing birth years. Can someone look into this?

Finally, his parents' profiles have a marriage year of 1619 in Connecticut, which doesn't seem right.

It appears he migrated before 1640 so yes he qualifies for PGM. I'm about to go on a short vacation and will be offline for a week. Hopefully others will be able to look him up on NEHGS and come up with better sources.
