There are a lot of Mckay's born in NC about 1856. Are you sure that the surname is Kay? Would you happen to know the city or county were Walter was born or have any additional information on marriage date or the name of a spouce or child?

I am absolutely certain that my grandfather's father name was Walter W. Kay, 500 Third Avene, Weldon, N.C.  He died in 1930 in Weldon, N.C. I have his death certificate.
