My paternal great-grandparents were Jacob Keuler and Matilda Nussman.  They emigrated (separately) from Germany in 1882 and 1892 (respectively), and met & married in Baltimore.  They owned a Bakery on Frederick Ave in Baltimore - called Keuler's Bakery.  In 1936 my grandfather, Warren "Pat" Pearman bought the business from his in-laws and he and my grandmother Frieda (Keuler) Pearman ran it until Pat's untimely death in 1947.   My father remembers the sign on the front window read "Keuler's Bakery, Pat Pearman prop. {proprietor}".

I would love to have a photo of this bakery, or connect with anyone with stories or family members who remember it.

Have you tried contacting the city of Baltimore Chamber of Commerce or other agency  documenting past commerce, etc?
