Kate Schmidt is a Wonderful WikiTreer

Question

Kate makes so many contributions to the US Black Heritage Project, but I want to specifically thank her along with Katie Bryant for catching up our processing of Notable profiles. We had about 400 profiles on a list that had been sitting and waiting six months for proper set up and addition to our notables spreadsheet. Thanks to these ladies, our notables are being processed in a timely manner and the spreadsheet is regularly updated. Our notable profiles are now getting even more love.

Thanks Kate.  I was hoping someone would add the USBH Heritage Exchange category to profiles I've created, if it pertained.  You did!  I still have to read about when to do so.

Thanks! The simplest "rule" is to add [[Category:US Black Heritage Project]] to any Black person born before 1866, or anyone known to have been a slaveholder. If you tag that, someone in the Project will eventually see the profile and add all the other categories we use.
