Is the Wall of Names Memorial website down temporarily or permanently?

Question

Today the usual link we use for the Acadian Wall of Names is not accessible.  You get to a page that says the domain expired 12/31/2021.  Does anyone have an alternative source for WON?  Any info if it is coming back?

I tried Firefox, Safari, using several different web page links, all for naught.

try the URL in the Wayback Machine, at archive.org to see if the URL or any of the pages there were captured

Cindy, My understanding is that they are trying to get funding for the museum and website, but I haven't heard anything more than that for months. I wouldn't give up yet, but it isn't very promising. 

In the meantime, I checked the Wayback Machine and found this:

There are lots of instances where it has been saved. The above link was the last one available, saved on 7 Dec 2021. I haven't tried to search the database for a specific name, but hopefully it is all there.

That's disappointing as it's such a valuable resource.  However on the page you provided, they did have a link to Encore that worked, thank you.  I was able to look up names this way.

In the meantime Jackie was able to find the person I needed and she's already added the WON entry and will do the children.
