See news article HERE.  I don't think he has a profile here, but we certainly need to give him one now.  Who's ready to take this on?

The article includes:

"Over the course of his historic career, McGee successfully completed 409 air combat missions across three wars, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, serving a total of 30 years of active service. McGee has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Congressional Gold Medal in 2007 and the National Business Aviation Association's Meritorious Service to Aviation Award in 2012. He was enshrined into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in 2011."

Hi Gaile, The US Black Heritage Project has been working to document all 900+ of the Tuskegee Airmen over the past year. We still have quite a few to go. We'll be happy to honor Charles alongside the rest.

Wow - I had no idea there were that many of them.  I was thinking about 60 - I am truly astonished!
Not all of them went to active duty. This is the number of people who were in the program.
