Need help, American WWI Killed in Action in France Profile

I would appreciate help improving the profile of this young man killed in action in France in WWI. I have worked on his profile some, as I encountered it in a previous Source-a-thon.

Lawrence Mabry was very young, only 15, when he died fighting near Thiraucourt, France. He was enlisted in the US Army but was reassigned to the USMC in France. I am not sure how to fill out his war categories.

Take a look at pages 78 to 79 of Holly S. Fenelon, The Knock at the Door: A History of Gold Star Mothers in America (Bloomington, Indiana: iUniverse; 1912):

https://www.google.com/books/edition/That_Knock_at_the_Door/18ZHDwAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22lawrence+g.+mabry%22&pg=PA78&printsec=frontcover

There are some quoted letters to his mother.

It's not a lot of additional information, but here is a newspaper clipping for you to add to his profile:

P.S.  It looks like he was closer to 26 when he died (born in 1892).  The sacrifice - by both him and his mother - is still tremendous.

Thanks so much for looking this over. And yes, you are right, I can't subtract. Actually, I am relieved.

And yes, his bravery was amazing just from what I have read. Thanks for searching further. I have not read the material yet, just got back home but I will incorporate what I can into his profile.

Still, I don't know how to put his service information into a category. I need to look it over again. I am not good with military nomenclature.

I added a sticker for you and listed him in the category for the Sixth Marines:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:6th_Marine_Regiment%2C_United_States_Marine_Corps%2C_World_War_I

You'll be fascinated when you read the letters.

P.S. My father was a mathematician and one time he couldn't get a proof to work in article that he was publishing to work.  He discovered after three days of profanity and stress that he had added 1+1+1 and got 2.  He fixed it and the proof worked.

Thank you for adding the Sticker. I think all I have to do now is add the WW1 Killed in Action sticker.

Yes, I read the letters in the "Knock at the Door" book. It is very touching. These were very brave men. His mother must have been so terrified by what he wrote.

I also am very impressed by the beautiful cemetery in Thiaucourt-Regnieville, Departement de Meurthe-et-Moselle, Lorraine, France . The aerial view shows what a beautiful memorial the Frence made for these men.
