Prepping for 1950 Census Release

Question

I suspect that there won't be name indexing completed on the 1950 Census records when they are initially released.  Are any of the super smart people working on a way to pull a report of profiles (e.g., in my watchlist or that I manage) of people who were likely alive and residing in the US in 1950?  If I could start from a list of living relatives, I think I'll flounder less once the records are available.

I suppose a report like this might already be available ... but I have no idea how to find or generate it.

The National Archives say that they're using OCR to create an initial name index, but of course there will be errors.

Use WikiTree+, you can use 1950s in your text search and it will pull everyone in the database who has a lifespan covering that time, plus you can add other criteria in your search to find things like "just the ones in my watchlist" or "just the ones in this place" (see the help page on search for the info on how to do that)

I've used WIkiTree+ to look at reports others have created.  It didn't occur to me that I could create my own!  Thank you... this is what I needed.

I don't know if there's a way on WikiTree to find this, but I have Reunion on my computer and have a way to create a report for people who would've been alive in 1950.  Do you have any software programs on your computer?  Or maybe someone will know a way to do that on WikiTree.
