My Grandfather was LaJoyce Harmon DuPlayee. I am at a brick wall in my genealogy searching so hoping this helps. I am interested in their children Verna, Beverly and Betty DuPlayee.

Thelma was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, and resided in Chicago, Cook, IL in 1930.At that time, her husband's name is shown as Joyce Du Playee.

Found her mother Emma Lathrop and her grandparents Harrison Lathrop and Barbara Ballinger and all her aunts and uncles. 

Appears her father was Joseph H Perry son of Richard Thomas Perry and Marion Lavinia Shears.  More on his siblings on census, birth records on family search.

Thelma also married a Laverne Ferneau, son of John Ferneau and Dora Collins.
