Around 1720, about when she was born, what country, county and or city was she in?

Is Pickens her maiden name or her husband's surname?

I don't know. This is the only information I have from a piece of memorial cameo jewelry. I'm helping a friend with this project. They must have been fairly well-off from the style of the piece.
