How do you fix a relationship?

I failed to check box that Etna Snider, wife of William Swaim is mother of Louis Swaim. She shows up as his mother in the tree, but not on the edit page. How can I fix this?

It looks like you have two Louis Swaim's one with Ettie has the mother and one without the mother. I would merge Swaim-269 and Swaim-267 together. You want to merge to the lower number. You can edit parents while you are editing the merge.

I agree with Joseph (as long as there were not two brothers named Louis).

You can use the Matching and Merging Tool to combine the two profiles and it should fix your current issues.  If you wish to do this, place the ID# Swaim-269 in the top space, and Swaim-267 in the second box, then click the option to "Compare".  If they look right to you, click to complete the merge.  You'll want to clean up (edit) the biography area after the merge; it only takes a few seconds.
